Does a black dress and brown army boots go together?

I'm going to a party next week and I have a black dress I want to wear, although I have black heels that would go with it I dont like wearing them because I can just about walk and I end up falling about in them and looking very stupid. Do you think brown army boots would go with a black dress? (The boots are dark brown)
