Ten points! What is it meant by "walk-around" here?

I guess perform a walk-around inspection is to actually walk around the machine to inspect and ensure that there is no fire hazard. This machine is huge as it has 2 exits, so a walk around is necessary. CAT is caterpillar which manufactures heavy duty machinery.
