Why does guy in work get nervous when theres just the two of us around?

Hes usually very confident person but i notice when were in the canteen on our own or in a meeting room alone he gets very nervous and starts looking for stuff to mess with or looking out the window but not really if you know what i mean. This guy has a gf by the way.
